Lake View Cabin

This 1947 Southern California mountain cabin looked out of place as it resembled a nautical beach house. The windows strangely faced north towards the street, when the view of the lake is south facing. CCHLA flipped the plumbing and windows in every room of the house revealing the explosive lake and mountain views. The pitched roofline lends mountain style, and the dining room addition with the offset window further take advantage of the magical views. Rugged Cedar Siding surrounds the exterior of the cabin and solid reclaimed walnut flooring modernizes and elevates the interiors. Turkish and Moroccan textiles were imported, lending a cool and cozy vibe and making this cabin striking in her perch above the madness of the city.
